Compared to other retinol products I've tried this contains a higher percentage than I would usually go for. I didn't want to risk irritating my skin so I've been only using this 1-2x a week depending on how my skin is feeling. So far I have nothing but good experiences with this one. I noticed how skin feels smoother and how it minimized some of my textures. I also noticed how it brightens up my complexion and makes my skin so soft & healthy-looking. I was surprised that I didn't experience any purging or irritation considering this has a higher percentage of retinol. I would say this retinol is gentle enough for sensitive skin! I haven't used it that long to see any improvement on my fine lines but I'll keep an eye on it and give an update as soon as I see any changes. .. Overall, I really enjoyed this serum. It's a gentle retinol formulated for sensitive skin! I wouldn't say this is beginner friendly but if you want to level up your retinol game, you might want to give this one a try! Keeping this in my rotation!
