This cleanser has a lightweight consistency and lathers well. It's gentle on the skin and doesn't dry my skin out. It contains Seboclear for sebum control in addition to Allantoin and Panthenol to maintain hydration It's a great cleanser for acne-prone skin.
This cleanser doesn't contain actives such as bha as you would expect in an acne cleanser. However it's designed to use with the Acne Control line where other products have actives so I think this is why this one is gentle, so it doesn't irritate the skin with all the products in the line
