Or so I thought... Now that I've tried it, I'm obsessed! Let me tell you why. For the first time in my life, I found the absolute perfect match for my skin tone. 😳 22 Petal is a neutral shade, which means no orange, yellow or pink hues. When I apply it on my face, you can't tell if I'm wearing foundation or not. Couldn't be more excited just because of that! 😍 If that were not enough, after putting all my makeup on I realized how good my skin looked! Having dry skin, matte products make my skin look wrinkly and dry. But this one wasn't the case at all. Having a velvet finish, it gives the skin a soft glow from within without sucking all the hydration from it. You thought that was all? It isn't! We've been hit by two heat waves in Spain already. Of course, I had to test this product longevity on the skin in this weather. I was so surprised to see how well it holds in such hot, humid conditions. It doesn't move around and stays right in place for hours! Application wise, I like to apply foundation in thin layers and then go over spots that need some extra coverage again. With this cushion, I get medium coverage with a thin layer. But you can apply it thicker or layer it up to get higher coverage. With a thin layer on, my skin looks just like healthy, even toned skin. It doesn't cake, nor crease and keeps looking fresh for hours. I'm so impressed by this cushion! ❤ In no time, it has become an essential in my makeup routine for this summer.
