Anew Power Serum
This is a lightweight serum full of humectants, soybean, yeast, and algae. It is purported to decrease the signs of aging, but the ingredient list definitely suggests it does so with intense hydration rather than actives.
This serum was fine. It didn't do anything mindblowing for my skin, but it definitely provided hydration and didn't cause any sensitivity. I was given it as a sample and I probably won't purchase because it didn't do much for me, but it could work well as a hydrating serum for others. It absorbs well and doesn't cause pilling.
Cost: $30-45 CAD per 30ml
It has fragrance, though I found it extremely faint, so if you have sensitivity to fragrance you will want to avoid this. It also has colourants and some sketchy types of alcohol. They are well under the 1% line so they probably won't do anything bad to anyone who doesn't have a sensitivity, but it's disappointing that they are present.
Avon is an MLM, aka a Multi Level Marketing company. It's a predatory pyramid scheme that has hurt a lot of people financially. Due to this I cannot stand by its products.
