Atopine Cream
ā Texture: Mid-weight cream that goes on super smooth despite looking a bit grainy in the video.
ā Fragrance: I was expecting a pineapple scent but I couldn't smell anything. I don't think there's any fragrance in it either š
ā Main Ingredients:
ā¢ Glycerin: moisturising properties
ā¢ Pineapple Extract: mild exfoliation
ā¢ Olive Fruit Oil, Grapeseed Oil & Argan Oil: anti-oxidants, protects the skin barrier & provides moisture to the skin.
ā¢ Allantoin , cica & ceramides : wound healing, soothing & strengthening of the skin barrier.
š On my very dry & sensitive skin š
ā What I liked about it:
ā¢ It's a basic cream that focuses on adding moisture to the skin & soothes any irritation (heaven for people with dry / sensitive skin, we LOVE basic skincare that works hehe)
ā¢ I was nervous about the exfoliation from the pineapple extract being too harsh on my skin (third ingredient on the list) but it was so gentle. No tingling sensation, no redness and no peeling either. To be honest, I'm not sure if it was effective at removing dead skin cells but my skin did feel soft and soothed after applying the cream. Although, I did use a separate chemical exfoliant with the cream & my skin didn't dry out.
ā¢ I enjoy using this during the day because it has a nice thin slip to it (silicone fluid) & that helps my BB Cream & eyeshadow stay on my skin nicely. It sinks in pretty quick and with no tackiness (although there might be some tackiness in summer or more humid weather)
ā¢ It's in a convenient & hygienic squeeze tube. Decent amount of cream for an affordable price!
ā What I didn't like about it:
ā¢ It's not enough for night-time use, especially in winter.
ā¢ A bigger size would be great because I also use it on various parts of my body. It does a great job at soothing dry patches!
