Fountain of Youth Hydrating Serum
This was honestly my first intro to gel serums before I got to try a bunch thanks to the Picky app. I loved how lightweight it was, and how it didn’t leave my skin feeling sticky at all. It is non-fragranced, and has hydrating ingredients like niacinimide for my dry leaning skin. It left my skin feeling bouncy and it didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. And where I normally can be oily (my t-zone), I noticed wasn’t any more shiny compared to other areas of my face. So I feel like this is a great option for those with any skin type. Plus for those curious who have acne, the chemist behind the brand started it because she was inspired by her own struggles with acne. So it was formulated to also be non-comedogenic (or rather it won’t clog your pores).
My favorite thing? The name Stripped comes from getting rid of unecesssry ingredients in their formulas. Plus it’s an affordable small indie brand that is run by someone who is trying to show the world that beauty brands can reduce their carbon footprint by only making limited batches so no product goes to waste and ends up in a landfill (and you have the option of getting carbon neutral shipping). Definitely give them a chance, especially if you’re in the US!
The only thing I was bummed about with this product is that it’s so small. I wish it came in a bigger size, I love it so much!
