KimChi Chic Beauty - hanbyul review for Set & Bake Powder

As someone with pretty oily skin, it’s been difficult for me to find a setting powder that actually keeps my makeup in place while still looking decent and not cakey. I’ve tried Laura Mercier’s powder, Maybelline Fit Me, Innisfree No Sebum powder, and they all weren’t the perfect powder for me. I saw the Kimchi Chic powder trending on Tiktok and happened to come across a mini size at a random mall store when it was all out of stock online. Having finally tried it, I understand all the hype! This powder is extremely finely milled, sits nicely on the skin, and actually keeps my makeup in place and makes it more longwearing while not looking cakey and dry. I do use a powder puff and slightly bake under my eyes and then use a thin amount in my T-zome and it’s the perfect way to set my face. Even with some cushion foundations that have made me look oily and other powders didn’t do the job, the Kimchi Chic powder actually helped make those cushions work better on my skin! I recently purchased the jumbo size that’s available on Kimchi Chic’s Tiktok shop so hopefully that will last me forever!
