PURITO - Treia review for Defence Barrier pH Cleanser

Claims * Mildly acidic gel cleanser * Refreshing natural ingredients with low pH 5.5 formula * Gently cleanses without stripping the skin natural moisture * Suitable for dry sensitive skin KEY INGREDIENTS * Centella Asiatica * Tea Tree Oil * Royal Jelly Extract * Alcohol free TEXTURE/SCENT * Transparent gel transforms into a lightweight foam * A tea tree oil scent EXPERIENCE * Produces a medium lather/ rinses off fairly well * Although it's recommended as a second cleanser, it does a great job of removing my foundation without the need of an oil cleanser. * The fragrance is somewhat earthy wood-like * Rinses off fairly well depending on the amount used * Very gentle on my sensitive skin without experiencing any signs of irritation. IMPRESSION Considering it's recommended as a second cleanser, I can't believe how effective it was for removing foundation and mascara. I suppose it's the effect of the Tea Tree oil and Royal Jelly🤷‍♀️ Nevertheless, it definitely works. The cleanser provides more of a jelly-like consistency but quickly becomes a light foam when water is added. It feels super smooth on the skin while delivering a fair amount of moisture. Although its performance is quite impressive, the woodsy scent is not my favorite and I also discovered that when using too much extra rinsing is needed. However, I can certainly make allowances due to how well it cleanses my skin.
