I have 3C/4A hair so I honestly wasn't expecting much out of this shampoo. I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised. First, it lathers well and cleans thoroughly. I intentionally washed it on pretty dirty hair with lots of product build-up just to see how it would perform. My hair was also really dry. It cleaned my hair well. I could already feel my curls softening just by using the shampoo. It was almost instant moisture. As far as the smell, it didn't wow me. It is a nice scent, but just normal in my opinion.
