Oil-Absorbing Volcanic Roller
This is a volcanic stone that is meant to be used to control oil on the go (and it's supposed to do so without removing makeup). You are meant to roll the little ball over the parts of your face that you are looking to mattify.
The ball rolls around smoothly and easily. It does, indeed, seen to my l remove oil and definitely does mattify wherever you roll it (I would for sure say it works best when not wearing makeup, though). When the ball gets "gross", you can very easily wash it off (super easily , you just need to rinse it with water and maybe add a bit of soap when necessary). The little ball is replaceable for about half the price of an entire new apparatus, which is really nice.
The little ball gets pretty "gunky" really quickly, in my opinion. I admittedly have super oily facial skin and I find that, when I am particularly shiny, I can't even roll my entire face before the stone stops working because it's gotten "icky". I also find that it DOES remove makeup a bit, which can really "gunk up" the ball quickly and make it unusable until washed off. I also simply find that I, unfortunately, much prefer blotting papers (I was hoping this would work out so I could stop using disposable papers).
Overall, I think it's worth a shot to see if it's for you - and it may be if you're not super oily like me - but it isn't for me, unfortunately.
