Vegan Watery Toner
I'm a big fan of toners, especially hydrating and brightening toners. A long time ago, I thought toners were unnecessary but when I started using one (Atopalm Real Barrier was my first), I realised how essential it was such as that it hydrated and made my complexion look fresh. However, I found myself getting spoilt for choices when it came to choosing a good one, even stocking up and hoarding many as well 😬 Whispers: Shhh, don't tell anyone. That'll be our little secret.
One of my recent favourite toners is the Nolahour Vegan Watery Toner. As you guys may already know, I received the Nolahour Vegan Set sometime ago and have since then fallen in love with their products. I also found them to be very ideal for my skin type because they use Centella Asiastica which is a magical ingredient as it has both healing and soothing properties, whilst also being gentle enough for sensitive skin types like myself.
I tend to get breakouts and dry skin every now and then, so Nolahour Vegan line is considered 'magic' to me. Not forgetting that Nolahour products are formulated with good and clean ingredients that are fundamental for healthy skin. Other skincare products use harsh formulas to solve recurring skin issues but Nolahour is a brand that is passionate about using safe ingredients that are suitable for sensitive and irritated skin.
Let's get reviewing, guys!
💧About Nolahour Vegan Watery Toner:
The Nolahour Vegan Watery Toner is a gentle, soothing toner formulated especially for acne-prone, oily or sensitive skin. The core ingredients in this toner such as Centella Asiastica Leaf Water are used instead of purified water to increase its acne-soothing abilities. Moreover, Niacinamide, Houttuynia Chordata, Glyceryl Glucoside and 3 types of Hyaluronic acid are added to deeply hydrate the skin so if you are suffering from dry skin issues due to weather changes, this toner is your go-to. Another benefit these ingredients give is that they not only reduce dryness, but tightness, itchiness and help keep skin plump and supple.
There are lots of toners out there but Nolahour Vegan Watery Toner stands out from others because not only does it have an amazing formula but it also passed the hypoallergenic tests, and it's a certified vegan and cruelty-free product. Lastly, it's free of bad ingredients, fragrance-free, alcohol-free, paraben-free, etc. Gosh, this is the kind of toner that fits in perfectly with my routine!
💧Key Ingredients:
Centella Asiatica Leaf Water👉 Helps soothe aggravated skin and protect it from further irritation.
Niacinamide👉Brightens dull skin and helps control enlarged pores and excess sebum production.
Houttuynia Cordata👉Helps control acne inflammation and clear clogged pores.
Glyceryl Glucoside👉Adds moisture and increases skin elasticity. Reduces itching, burning, tightness, tingling, or feelings of dryness.
Hyaluronic Acid👉Uses 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid (low, medium, high molecular weight) to deeply hydrate and moisturise the skin.
💧Texture:
It is lightweight, scentless, has a watery texture, and doesn't leave any greasiness or stickiness.
💧Packaging:
The bottle is made from a good quality translucent plastic with a flip-to-open typed cap. The translucency makes it easy to see the product inside, which I always prefer. Printed on the bottle's uncoated matte finish paper sticker is the product's name and its brand name written in small, orange print and at the bottom, is once again, its brand name written in big, green print. The main highlight of the toner is also printed on the front so with just one look at this bottle, you'll know right away what's it for.
Lastly, I have no issues with leakage or spill so I can confidently bring it along with me on road trips. I also like how the bottle isn't overly heavy or too flimsy.
💧Scent:
Scentless.
💧Who is Nolahour Vegan Watery Toner for?
All skin types.
(¯`·._.·Personal Experiences·._.·´¯)
I like toners that have ingredients proven to soothe and heal your skin. There are not many toners I've tried that I would consider 'magical' but the ones such as Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Toner and the Nolahour Vegan Watery Toner have Centella and have helped me to reduce my acne and dry skin sufferings. These toners are considered "magical" because they're truly magical.
These past few weeks, I've not been managing my diet well and tend to indulge in fried food plus not drinking enough water. Oops, sorry! Because of these, my skin had breakouts and my skin became flaky around the mouth area. 😞😢 It was then that I decided to try the Nolahour Vegan Watery Toner and after learning what it could do for my skin, I tried it with the goal to see if it could do what it claimed to do.
Each time I saturate a cotton pad and then swipe it over my face, I find that it soothes and hydrates my skin, reduces inflamed skin and also helps to lift dead skin. Although the toner didn't mention anything about exfoliation, I found this toner to be quite amazing.
After using it for several days, I notice a gradually brightening, hydrated, supple and refreshed look to my complexion — most likely due to its key ingredients such as Centella Asiastica Leaf Water and Niacinamide. I also noticed how it could reduce new breakouts from appearing by just putting the saturated cotton pad on the affected areas.
All in all, the Nolahour Vegan Watery Toner was not all talk but really walked the talk which amazed me. As expected, Nolahour products are great and they do not make useless claims. My most favourite part about this toner is the ingredients used to soothe and heal the skin. For someone who often has dry and acne-prone skin, this is the type of toner I need in my routine. After a very satisfactory experience, I'm rating it a 5/5 stars rating!
Nothing bad about it!!
