Low pH Niacinamide Micellar Cleansing Water
I bought this because I wanted to find a cleansing water that's suitable to remove my sunscreen (I don't wear makeup). I'm a cleansing water junkie and has almost never sticked to one cleansing water so I am interested to give this newly launched cleansing water from @malaysia_cosrx @cosrx a try.
Below are my thoughts on it!
🐬About:
~ first step in your double cleansing routine to remove light makeup and sunscreen
~ low pH hence suitable for sensitive skin
~ cleanses, regulates sebum production on skin, and at the same time also soothes and hydrates
~ no rinsing required (but personally I prefer to use a foaming cleanser after all cleansing water/oil/balm)
🐬Key ingredients:
~ niacinamide & zinc (sebum control)
~ allantoin & cica (soothing)
~ hyaluronic acid & panthenol (hydration)
🐬Experience:
~ comes in a huge size (400ml) hence can last a long time
~ watery consistency, non-sticky unlike some cleansing water
~ fragrance free; scentless
~ gentle, doesnt feel irritating on the skin (okay if you don't rinse it although personally I prefer to use a foaming cleanser after that)
~ effective at removing makeup (mascara) and sunscreen
~ doesnt sting my eyes
~ (when used as a non-rinsing cleansing water), leaves the skin feeling hydrated, clean, refreshed and (3 minutes later) matte; skin doesn't feel dry, stripped or irritated after using
🐬Conclusion:
~ I like it! (ranked highly among tonnes of other cleansing waters I've tried)
~ works gently yet EFFECTIVELY as a light makeup and sunscreen remover
~ hydrating, sebum controlling AND non-irritating
~ recommended for all skin types especially combination/oily/sensitive skin looking for a gentle & effective cleansing water
Literally nothing bad to say about this cleansing water at all
