Dove - Lorelei review for Deep Moisture Body Wash

I purchased the Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash because Dove is a brand I've been using forever. My Mom used the bar soap, so I was indoctrinated to it early on. With MicroMoisture technology, this body wash claims to deposit millions of moisturizing droplets that instead of washing off, absorb deeply into every crevice of your dry skin. This will help your skin to retain its moisture long after using - up to 24 hrs! With ingredients such as Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Lauric Acid, Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, & Glycerin, just to name a few, this truly works to help moisturize extremely dry skin. In addition, it's: 🚫 Sulfate, Paraben free 🌱 Vegan 🐇 PETA Certified ♻️ 100% recycled plastic bottle My Experience: First I noticed how thick it was coming out of this large bottle, and so very rich. But then the heavy scent hit me. As always, I went ahead and used it, you never know if it is a scent that will die down. It didn't. The later is also thick & rich, and feels very silky. And while it truly did hold up to its claims for moisture retention, making my skin soft, I just couldn't get past the headache inducing scent that refused to soften. It's a perfumey soapy scent, that's the best description I can say. Even after rinsing it off, I still smelled like soap!
