Golden Hour Recovery Cream
I was attracted to this moisturizer because of the sea buckthorn and calendula content which is extra soothing for the skin. Dry skin types will love how quickly it sinks in, without any tack and makes the skin feel comfortable and calm. Its aroma profile reminds me that of Naturopathica’s calendula hydrating cream.
The thing that bothered me most about this cream was actually the aroma. It’s very lavender forward, which I don’t find offensive in itself but striking a balance is important to me and the scent lingers on the skin too. I’ve also heard feedback about how some oily or combination skin types don’t like the way it feels for them. It’s absolutely fine for me but I don’t reach for it as often as my other moisturizers.
