WOW! I'M SURE WE'VE ALLLLLLL SEEN THE TIKTOK BY NOW! THE ONE WHERE PATRICK DUNKED HIS WHOLE BEAT FACE INTO A POOL. RIGHT? Then he patted his face and nothing came off! Yeah so did I so I bought the setting spray...and WOW! This not only BLURS, but it's mattifying, waterproof, sweat proof( I live in Florida it's 100°F+ with 100% humidity in the summer!), it's also transfer proof, smudge proof, oil & shine control! The company says they use Micro-layer seal technologies but I'm sure this setting spray is just pretty much hair spray with green tea extract in it. According to clinical studies 100% of users said their makeup stayed. 100% of users in the clinical studies also said their makeup didn't smudge & 100% said that the setting spray didn't leave a sticky residue. That's big claims coming from a company. I did find that you have to let it dry down completely!! One Size also claims that this setting spray gives you 16 HOURS of makeup insurance so you're makeup will be locked in until you're ready to sleep. The green tea extract in this spray is what controls shine. There's also witch hazel in the ingredients and witch hazel is known to absorb oil and give you that blurred, matte finish. Be sure to shake the can REALLY WELL before EVERY USE! I found that this setting spray worked very well with my Combination to Oily skin and I'd love to try the big one next time.
So what was bad wasn't necessarily the product itself even though this setting spray is OUTRAGEOUSLY PRICED (the small 1oz can is $20 & the LG 4oz can is $40!!) My issue was with the company and their customer service! I ordered my products Dec. 24th I got the notification that my stuff had shipped on Dec. 27th. Fast-forward 2.5 weeks later there was still no info about it. I had messaged customer service wanting my money back because I hadn't received my products that I paid $60 for! The woman I spoke to wanted me to wait another week to see if my stuff was stolen. She then said she'd resend me the products if that was the case so I'd end up waiting even longer! When I just asked for a refund she told me I wasn't eligible for a refund! I finally just got my products yesterday 01/13/2024. It took over 20+ days for me to actually get products in hand so if you're in a hurry I would just go buy One/Size products at Sephora. My interactions with the companies customer service along with their ridiculous price point I'm not sure if I'd ever buy from One/Size again.
