But it has a very light scent. Remember the scent of Celine acsorbic acid syrup? thats what it smells like but very very light! It really doesn’t bother me at all. It feels and smells like artificial honey ☀️ Texture ☀️ The serum’s texture is watery and runny during my patch test on my hands. It has a light orange tint to it when I did the patch test. But it will not make your face orange or something. It completely disappears once applied. ☀️ Application ☀️ Once applied to my skin, it does feel very light, a little viscousy at first but once worked to my skin, it absorbs like water! It does have a slight hydrating feel to it that didn’t left my skin greasy and oily. ☀️ My Experience ☀️ The overall formula is average, I just think the ingredients inside this vitamin c serum is not that powerful and I think it just oxidizes quickly after an hour of application. Layering it with other hydrating can lower its effects especially knowing that vitamin c is unstable, maybe it would clash with other ingredients on your moisturizers. I used this products for 3 weeks and I almost used up the whole bottle. I only put 2-3 drops of it. I didn’t see huge fading effect on my scars, yes it lightened them for 3 weeks but it didn’t completely fade it. The product works, price is reasonable. This could be a go to serum on days where you feel like you need a gentle vitamin c serum. It really didn’t react to my sensitive skin. It’s almost like an essence. Light, effective, gentle. 🛼 Final Thoughts 🛼 Overall, this vitamin c serum is worth it for the price and its effects. I did notice my scars lightly fade within 3 weeks and to think this is a 17ml product and I haven’t used up the whole bottle yet. If you enjoy gentle but effective skincare as much as I do, you will love this serum. I can see myself purchasing this serum in the future. For long term use? for me it’s fine.
