📌KEY INGREDIENTS: ☀️Sunscreen chemical filters: ⛔️Octocrylene - not strong enough on its own. Can irritate the skin, increases skin free radicals. Improves water resistance of the product. Protects against UVA, UVB. ❓Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (Octinoxat) - photoinstable ‘old generation’ filter (but stabilized with Tinosorb S), endocrine disruption potential. Helps to solubilize other filters. Protects against UVB. ✅Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate (Uvinul A plus) - stable filter, full protection against UVA. ✅Ethylhexyl Salicylate (Octisalate) - a not strong filter (also ‘old generation’), safe for humans, used in combination with other filters to stabilize the system and solubilize other filters. Protects against UVB. ✅Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine (Tinosorb S) - stable filter, high protection against UVA even at low concentrations. ☀️Plant extracts for soothing, moisturizing and antioxidant defence. ☀️Niacinamide (<1%). 📌MY EXPERIENCE: ☀️This stick is light yellow-green in color. The packaging is compact and convenient to carry. Just turn the knob at the bottom to pull out the stick 👍 ☀️Contains fragrance and has herbal scent, not overpowering for my taste. ☀️Glides easily and smoothly over the skin, leaving powdery-silky non-greasy and non-sticky finish with slightly dewy shining (very slight). The texture is balmy and lightweight, so I don’t even feel it on my skin. I personally don’t experience any irritation. ☀️I don't consider sun sticks as a main sun protection for the face (waxes give more occlusion than usual creamy sunscreen, that’s not very good for the skin every day) but it is perfect for renewing sun defence on the go. ☀️Good for applying on the back of hands. (I hate when cream stays on my fingers 😣) and other exposed body parts. ☀️I also plan to use it on my husband (he can’t stand creamy sunscreens 😅) but not on my kid due to Octocrylene and Octinoxat. 📌CONCLUSION: Nice pleasant texture and smooth application, but I’d be happier if only modern stable chemical filters were used in the composition. Sensitive skin - use with caution and patch test prior.
