BakuVita Barrier Cream
Ingredients:
Apart from the same key ingredients of BakuVita line (please see my earlier reviews of TYF), it contains glycerine, cetearyl alcohol, panthenol, Japanese kelp/seaweed extract (soothing, moisturizing), eclipta prostrata leaf extract (antioxidant and skin-calming properties), beta-glucan, hydrolyzed HA etc.
My Experience:
The texture is lightweight as you can see in the reel but with a very balanced richness which falls into not too rich or not too watery category. Like all the other products from this line, it has no scent and is light yellowish in colour due probably to bakuchiol (?) and leaves my skin beautifully hydrated. Though it is lightweight, when combined with the toner and ampoule from this line, it is sufficiently hydrating/moisturizing for daytime, but I need an extra layer of a thicker cream at night especially in winter. It’s a great cream for oily, combo and sensitive skin types and a great choice for dry skin too in summer.
I did not experience any irritation during the entire 3 weeks of testing it so I can confidently conclude that the BakuVita line is very safe in general and excellent choice for all skin types especially sensitive one. Please note that skincare is subjective and this review is based on my personal experience.
Nothing! It’s good for most skin types in general but I believe it is especially designed for oily-combo, sensitive skin types looking for some anti-aging benefits.
