Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum
I used the Murad Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum for almost 2 weeks now and LOVE it for the most part. It delivers results -quickly!- and pairs well with my a.m. & p.m. moisturizers. I can even do my typical makeup routine and this serum layers fine with it as long as you apply the serum right after cleansing/ toning.
The ONLY criticism I have of this is how sticky my face feels after application. I have to do my hair or brush/ floss while I wait for it to dry down to finish layering my moisturizer/ face oils/ and/or makeup. This is not a product that I sought out to purchase, but was an item that was in my Ipsy box. Frankly I wasn’t sure I would use it when I came across it while unpacking my box, but I have found that I have really enjoyed it so far. I recommend it to anyone wanting to lighten sun damage or other troublesome pigmentation areas they’re unhappy with.
Dr. Murad’s Rapid Age Spot & Pigment Lightening Serum’s active ingredient is Hydroquinone at the highest level available (2.0%) without a prescription. This means it will help quickly fade dark spots, age spots, and sun spots with noticeable results in as little as 1-2 weeks. I’m noticing a decrease in my sun freckles and small areas of hyperpigmentation, plus I feel like it makes my skin look more radiant. I’m so disappointed in myself that I did not think to take a ‘Before’ photo to show you the difference so you could see for yourself. The bonus for me is that this serum does not irritate my combination/ dry and somewhat sensitive skin, so I’m happy.
Has hydroquinone in it, hence the quick lightening. Im not planning to use this long term, just for 6 months to obtain quick results, & then maintaining these results with another serum.

I maintain it by using retinol, lactic or glycolic acid serum, and a moisturizer. I also use a chemical resurfacing mask once a week.
