The smell is strong at first but fades away after a while so hades up to those sensitive to fragrance. It is moisturizing, leaves a dewy finish and is suitable for use under makeup. I did not experience any discomfort or irritation while testing this. This chemical sunscreen is ideal for mostly dry, combination and dehydrated skin types.
