Pure Fit Cica Serum

product review positives
Cosrx Pure Fit Cica Serum ($20) is a calming concentrate that combines 7 Cica ingredients to help sensitive skin. A plant-based serum that alleviates skin concerns while promoting the restoration of a healthier skin barrier. 🌱Ideal for: Soothing & protecting sensitive skin Strengthening the skin barrier Relieves & helps skin recovery Calming irritation 🌱Did you know? Cica is short for Centella Asiatica, a green that's both eaten and commonly used as a medicinal herb in Asia. Google it, and you'll see that it looks sort of like a clover. Tigers apparently used to roll around in Centella Asiatica to help heal battle wounds, and it can do some pretty transformative things to human skin, too. 🌱My Experience: This is a very soothing, powerful serum with a watery consistency that soaks right up. It has no distinguishing scent, which I know is a huge thing for a lot of people. A few drops and it relieves my sporadic inflammation & redness/heat. The glass dropper really looks classy against the frosted white glass of the bottle. It also has a stopper on the inside of the bottle, to prevent any accidental spillage. You can use as is or mix in with a moisturizer. Both day or night, but I recommend morning a bit more. It works like a gentle warrior, keeping my redness/irritation down. Very moisturizing and can be used in many ways, with many different combinations and in many routines. Lightweight, non-sticky and definitely a must-have! ✅What I loved was the minimal ingredient list: Centella and Centella components (76%) are main. With Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassic Acid, Madecassoside as runner ups. No artificial or synthetic materials which is always good to see in a serum.
product review negatives
❌Cica is a very sensitive ingredient. Try to keep out of the skin when you apply. It's definitely a type of product you'll have to learn to apply--too little will not benefit but too much might cause itchiness/burning. You need to find a good middle-ground. Try application every other day or by weekly intervals.
