Guerlain - nicolletiti review for Rouge G Satin Lipstick

The L'Art Decom case is a gorgeous design and makes me feel so fancy! To me the concept of an ultra fancy case with a refillable Lipstick cartridge just makes so much sense. I really like the fact that the case opens to a little double mirror, great to help me apply this Lipstick while I am on the go. I will say though that there is one drawback, the mirror part of the case does not stay closed unless the lipstick is inserted and you can't open the mirror without pulling out the lipstick at least a bit.... I think it would be better if the mirror part opened and closed separately from the lipstick part, maybe with a magnet or a click closure Omg the lipstick 510 Le Rouge Vibrantnn feels so luxurious on the lips... Now many Matte Velvet Lipstick formulas are super drying on the lips but this one is absolutely not, it has to be the most comfortable Matte type lipstick I have ever used. I do absolutely love the concept of refillable lipsticks and the mechanism of this one is fantastic. The colour is intense and a mostly orange toned red but there is enough blue in it to help my teeth to not look too yellow. I love the fact that the colour lasts but, it does travel if you don't set it with powder, unfortunately I found this out while I was out at a party and a friend told me I had a big red mark on my chin.... as I stated though the use of a bit of powder does fix this. My only other issue I have with this lipstick is that it has a rose scent/taste to it, now after wearing the lipstick for a few minutes the smell seems to mostly dissipate but I found the slight rose taste lingered. This is definitely a lovely lipstick to add to my collection
