SPF 50+ Cleanance Sunscreen with TriAsorB

product review positives
Experience ☆ I was really sad that this sunscreen didn't work out for me. my main issue with this sunscreen was that it broke me out. I wouldve used it and emptied it if that wasn't an issue. It gave me a very very slightly white cast. My family members couldn't tell that it gave me a white cast but I COULD!! it wasn't a bad white cast if nobody else could tell so it didn't bother me too much. Also I don't know if this counts as pilling but there was a slight white residue in some areas, it was okay when I wiped it away off my face. When I rubbed my face, there was no product pilling or white residue so I don't know if that was pulling. Also i loved that it didn't sting my eyes!! Ingredients ☆☆☆☆☆ the uv filter lineup is impressive. I'm very happy to see that. No old school UV filters. My issue with old school UV filters is that they burn my eyes. The ingredient list is the only reason that this sunscreen has 2 stars. The star ingredient is Triasorb. Pierre Fabre's patented UV filter. Its claims are to protect against visible light as well as UVA AND UVB light. It definitely feels highly protective and ill probably wear it if I find myself in a super sunny environment. The version I got has fragrance, the fragrance free version was out of stock so I was stuck with the fragrance one. I was pleasantly surprised that the fragrance was really light and nice. It smelled almost soapy....like laundry detergent maybe. It was nice. Not too strong, my skin is sensitized and I felt like it didn't irritate me. If you have sensitive skin, definitely get the fragrance free version, but the fragrance version isn't too bad. Texture ☆☆☆☆☆ its more of a cross between a lotion and fluid. Not too watery and runny but not as thick as a creme. Applying it on my face was really nice because it didn't stick and clump up with wet skin and i Finish ☆ ☆ my favorite part of this sunscreen is the finish. NOT OILY AT ALL!! my biggest pet peeve with these high protection sunscreens is that they are always sooo oily. This is a little oily when first applied but it dries down to a dewy finish. Its definitely not matte or natural. Also it did give me a white cast, not enough for other people to notice, but I noticed. It also went away after like 8 hours of wearing (i didn't reapply) Also - the weird white residue that I mentioned in the experience section. I don't know if I could go out in public with this sunscreen because the white residue is kind of embarrassing. Amount ☆☆☆ The sunscreen is 50ml for ~16-25USD. I got it on sale for like 15USD. I think its definitely worth around 17-22USD. although I am tired of these tiny 50ml sunscreens being the norm. If it was at least 80ml, I'd be happy but whatever. I think its worth to get this sunscreen on sale because it's definitely not worth anything more than 22USD. Overall ☆☆☆ Didnt have a super oily finish despite being highly protective, didn't burn my eyes, makes my skin super soft, very nice ingredient list, fragrance isn't too bad (there is a fragrance free version too)
product review negatives
Overall ☆☆☆ broke me out, has a weird white residue, and gives a slight white cast.
