+ful - Camelliaskinensis review for Retinol 1% Serum (Anti-Aging Treatment)

✨This is an anti-aging serum that claims to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This serum is also formulated with licorice extract for brightening, probiotic lactobacillus ferment for barrier care, and oat kernel extract for moisturizing and skin soothing. ✨ This is a milky serum, no overwhelming fragrance, easy to spread and absorbs pretty fast too. As retinol serums go, I find this pretty mild even for 1%. Do note though that retinoids are a regular part of my routine — daily, in fact, but I’ve built up tolerance over the years, so if this is your first retinoid product, go slow. It’s also help packed with other ingredients that should buffer the side effects of retinization, though I would still recommend observing the effects on your skin and adjusting your routine as necessary. ✨ I do love their external packaging though, the cardboard tube is actually great for shipping and traveling, and I love the brand personality that comes through in their design, and I love that this is a local brand that provides affordable options for the Filipino market. ✨ This is also pretty affordable for a retinoid, at P349 (about $6-$7) for 30ml. ✨Currently eyeing +ful’s other products right now, particularly their actives — will evaluate my stash to see what I need to get my hands on in the coming months so I can get more reviews out here.
