Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Color Clay Mask #CICA
Since I have an acne prone skin, this product got my attention because it's a clay mask... that targets my skin's concern.
When I thought of clay mask; it's just a usual clay mask that targets all skin's concern, a mudlike color and can smell awful.
But not this one!
CONTAINS:
✔Madecassoside (Antioxidant)
✔Green Tea (Antioxidant/Anti-Aging)
✔Glycerin (Humectant)
✔Volcanic ash [how cool is that?]
CLAIMS:
✔Cleans pores
✔Shrinks pore size
✔Controls Sebum Production
✔Banishes blackheads
Pricepoint:
Retails at Php500, but you can catch it on sale for as low as Php300. Definitely worth the experience.
TEXTURE & SCENT
Feels just like a mud and is easy to apply or spread all over the face. Texture when dry is a bit like a cement but it can easily be cleansed.
The scent is a bit earthy and it doesn't bother me at all.
EXPERIENCE:
Fun & Excitement. My experience is the silver lining.
I always check if it's sunday so I can use this clay mask.
I use enough to cover my whole face. Waiting 10 minutes until it dries while watching The Big Bang Theory is a sunday I deserve!
The feeling after cleansing is definitely satisfying! My skin feels really clean but it doesn't feel like it's dry.
I'm not sure if this is also considered as an exfoliation routine, but my skin feels so soft just like after washing off The Ordinary's Peeling Solution. I can't actually tell if my blackheads were gone but is true that it minimizes pore appearance and controls sebum production.
I've been using this for 8 weeks, and so far, I've got no bad experience.
