Sharonspendstoomuch review for Hemp Seed Essence Activating Pump

I received this essence in an essence set from Abib and Picky in a giveaway. Cannabis Sativa Seed (Hemp Seed) Oil is rich in Omega Fatty Acids that helps to replenish the skin and maintain moisture. Please note that Hemp seed does not include THC, so it is not the drug version of cannabis. This essence also contains Jojoba oil and Shea butter, which also contain fatty acids that help protect the skin. This formula contains 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid to help hydrate at different depths of the skin, as well as Glycerin and Panthenol. Turmeric root, Cocoa Seed extract and Tocopherol provides antioxidant properties and Ceramide are also included in the ingredient list. However, the essence also contains Eucalyptus Essential Oil, Basil oil, Linalool and Lemonene, which could be irritating for sensitive skin. I have used this essence for about a week as part of my evening routine. I used it after my normal essence, but before serum and moisturizer. When I first put it on, I did notice a slight tacky feeling, but after it dries down about 2 minutes after application, my skin felt super moisturized. It was not at all greasy and it really absorbs well. The next morning, my skin still felt soft, silky and calm. The herbal fragrance (it smells like oregano to me) is very calming and relaxing. Since I haven’t used this essence very long, it is much too soon to see any improvement in elasticity of my skin. I did not have any irritation either. I would consider this essence my 2nd favorite of the 4 essences that I tried. I will keep using this product in the future to see what happens in the long-term as I am impressed with the ingredients (minus the EO) that works for my dry aging skin.
