This moisturizer is quite tacky and thick, but not a whipped consistency. It spreads easily on the skin and leaves a nice layer on the skin, ensuring it stays hydrated. It is a really rich and emollient, which I find works more effectively for me as opposed to mostgel moisturizers. They market this as great for all skin types, but honestly, it might be a bit much for oilier skin types. My skin feels a bit tight at times due to dryness, and always feels smoother, softer, and supple after using this moisturizer. For the winter, this is for sure my holy grail.
