The Anua Heartleaf Silky Moisture Sun Cream is a sunscreen using chemical filters to provide a broad spectrum sun protection of SPF50. It's an organic sunscreen, containing ingredients, antioxidants, nutrients and botanical extracts like Houttuynia Cordata Exctract, Niacinamide, Kaki Leaf Exctract, Grape Fruit Extract, Safflower Extract, Coffee Seed Extract, Green Tea Leaf Extract, Chesnut Shell Extract and Panthenol, claiming to provide soothing and hydrating benefits to the skin, to boast a sebum control effect, to maintain a healthy skin barrier and to prolong make up wear. Obviously, it also protects the skin against harmful UV rays and environmental agressors. It's vegan and cruelty free and suitable for all skintypes, especially for sensitive skin. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: This sunscreen doesn't have any scent, which obviously is great for people with sensitive skin. Besides that, personally, I definitely prefer no scent over the typical sunscreen scent any day! 😉 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥: This milky white colored satin soft sunscreen has a nice creamy but yet very lightweight texture and melts right into the skin, without feeling greasy or sticky. It absorbs really quickly and doesn't dry out the skin. It feels really good on the skin, without any discomfort. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: This sunscreen comes in a white and green colored matte plastic tube with green and white lettering in Korean. There's a little bit of English text on the tube too, but it's almost too little to notice. The typical Keep It Simple line Anua always prints onto their products is also visible. The matte material used for making the tube feels nice when holding the tube. The tube comes in a white and green colored carton box with white and green lettering. The box is printed in soy ink and contains a list of ingredients in English and a whole bunch of info in Korean on the back of the box. Just like the tube, it also contains the typical Keep it Simple line Anua always uses on their products. The white and green colors used in the packaging captured the organic and vegan nature of the sunscreen perfectly. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: After application, my skin feels moisturized and hydrated, nourished, smooth, supple and soft and looks fresh, healthy, firm and radiant. It spreads really easily and doesn't leave any whitecast. And, as mentioned before, it melts right into the skin. It should have a semi-dewy finish, but I feel like it's more like a matte finish. But personally, I don't mind a matte finish. 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: This is my favorite Anua product! I wasn't really a fan of the 2 previous products I tried, but this one really changed my mind! I absolutely love this Sun Cream! I especially love that it's scentless, doesn't leave a whitecast and absorbs so quickly. My favorite sunscreen still is the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum, because of it's serum-like texture and the dewy glow, but this one definitely earns it's spot in my list of favorite SPF's! This is the one I grab when I feel like having a matte finish instead of a dewy one! Highly recommended for everyone looking for a good and simple vegan sunscreen that does what it promises to do!
