Aveda - chelsiapatel review for Botanical Kinetics Purifying Creme Cleanser

I was introduced to this brand and product a couple years back after getting a facial and I really love this product. I did read the other review as I wanted to compare my views to theirs and I 100% get where they are coming from but I also wanted to acknowledge why I like tbis product and how I make it work for me. For starters I only use this cleanser in the shower to wash my face and neck or in the morning to wash my face and neck before going on with my day. I personally never use it to take off make up so maybe it is not the best for taking off make up, I really can’t say. But after I use this I follow it with 2-3 other Aveda products recommended to me for my skin type. Once or twice a week my next step is using a bit of the Aveda Botanical Kinetics Exfoliant which is another product I recommend as it is an extremely natural exfoliant as it doesn’t foam or contain beads that could be harsh on skin. Whether or not I use the exfoliant that day I follow with the Aveda Botanical Kinetics Hydrating Treatment Lotion which again I love because it is extremely refreshing and always leaves my skin soft. And finally I follow it with a moisturizer, the one they recommended for me is tinted and also isn’t on this app yet to search. And this routine may not work for you but for me it does so I hope to help someone who reads this and is looking for something to go with this cleanser. Overall though I love this product but I do use it with a routine so I can’t speak for how this product is on it’s own, or how it is if you’re looking to use it as a makeup remover. Myself I love it just as a cleanser to take off dirt and sweat I may have when I wake up in the morning or just to use as a face wash in the shower. I enjoy the smell, it is a very natural smell and it smells the same as the other products I listed so I don’t feel like I’m mixing scents when I’m using them together. You only need a couple pumps to go a long way, it leaves your skin soft and it isn’t a foamy texture! And for me that’s something I love because it shows how natural the product is
