The Moisturizing Soft Cream
La Mer’s history is mysterious and fascinating at the time same time. Not much can be found about the alleged creator Dr. Max Huber and some people even claim that Dr. Max Huber never existed at all. The “miracle ingredient” in all La Mer products is Miracle Broth which includes fermented sea kelp (which up until this day is still hand harvested) and other pure ingredients.
The Moisturizing Soft Cream is a lightweight hydrating cream used to tackle dryness, and to reduce the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles over time for overall smoother, softer and more radiant skin.
Since I have dry skin, I always look for creams with hydrating and moisturizing benefits. I was worried when I looked at the ingredients and saw that The Moisturizing Soft Cream includes fragrance since I am not a fan of scented skincare. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the jar and was greeted by a light and “powdery” scent. The scent dissipated quickly once applied to the skin. The cream itself is extremely smooth, spreads easily and is completely absorbed into the skin after a short wait. A tiny amount is sufficient to cover the whole face. The cream feels weightless on my skin and left my skin feeling smooth and moisturized without making it look greasy.
Price is high.
Product contains fragrance.
