As winter is fast approaching, our lips need even more attention and hydration than before. The Bielenda lip mask will work very well for this purpose. It is available in three different versions, but I was most interested in the melon-scented one. Its unique green color made me irresistible.βοΈπ
The product is packed in a convenient jar which cannot be opened once closed. It is small, so it will fit perfectly in a purse or cosmetics bag. The scent of the mask is amazing! Indeed, it brings to mind fresh melon fruit, and the taste is similar. It is not completely chemical, so it does not interfere with use.π
As for the effect that the mask leaves on the lips, it is deeply moisturizing and eliminating dry cuticles. Thanks to its thick consistency, this feeling remains for a long time, and the product is really efficient, because just a little bit is enough to cover the entire lips. After applying the appropriate amount, the color is not visible, only a delicate transparent surface remains. It is best to use this mask at night so that you wake up in the morning with your lips ready, for example, to apply your favorite lipstick.π
Like most products, this one unfortunately also has its drawbacks. The first is the lack of an applicator in the packaging. This is not a huge obstacle, as you can use a reusable brush, but when it comes to applying the mask, for example outside the home, doing it with your finger is quite unhygienic.ποΈ
In addition, after using it for a little longer, I noticed that when I wake up in the morning, sometimes new blackheads appear on my chin, just under my lips, which may indicate that some of the product got there while I was sleeping and caused such a reaction. After carefully reading the composition, I know that we can actually find some very clogging ingredients there, so if you have skin prone to imperfections, you should be careful about it.
