feelxo: How Was It? Black Snail serum tried this product because I wanted to add serum on my routine and this one was very affordable. I had D/R very dehydrated skin type, my skin rarely reacted badly with new product, so take this review with a grain of salt. •texture and scent• It has this slimy-like texture like any other snail product that you could find. Consistency pretty light, it was not thick nor heavy, and my skin doesn't have any problem absorbing it. Packed in dropper bottle, it was very easy to get the product out from its bottle, and I think if the dropper can't reach the serum anymore, I won't face much difficulties taking it out by turning the bottle upside down. Those who dislike fragrance on their products would really like this product because it's scentless, I don't smell anything from the product. •first impression• I was really excited upon using this product because the last time I use snail-products was like 5 years ago. This one had 930,000ppm snail secretion filtrate on it. It also contains Niacinamide on its top 5 ingredients and Hyaluronic Acid was featured on the ingredient list although there's not much information regarding the percentage. It claims could help on protecting skin barrier while providing vitality and nutrition to skin. •what it actually did• I was on this product for about half a month now and it's currently fill the serum slot before moisturizer. It was actually a nice serum, though I didn't see much improvement on my skin. I didn't experience purging nor breakout while using this serum. It helps on providing more hydration, maybe, but that's it. Personally, I think it was quite decent, but not excellent nor exceptional. I got this when on sale, it was only ~$5 for 50ml serum, like HOW?! It's usually priced ~$13 though, and I personally think, it's still cheap. If you're new to serum and just looking for an affordable option, this might be one of the option you could choose. But don't expect too much, it might works for you, but it might just do a mediocore job.
