The pad has a slit for your fingers . Then you apply some water to the pad and begin to do multiple swipes across your face . You will see like this foam appear on your skin. Then you rinse your face with lukewarm water and enjoy the results . You will be amazed how bright your skin looks afterwards . It does not sting nor did it irritate my skin .
