Felt a tad bit of tightness after wash, maybe it's because of AHA/BHAs within the product. But I never worry about that because I use a hydrating toner afterwards. Just be wary of this one because it contains exfoliating acids, specifically glyolic, lactic, and salicylic acid. I immediately wash it off after rubbing it in because I don't want the acids to further penetrate.
