The ingredient list might sound overwhelming but this plant-derived exfoliating serum is actually very gentle! I stopped using Adapalene to give way for this set and I specifically used this serum every 3 nights to avoid overexfoliating. There is a hint of green in the color of the serum and this is almost scentless.
The lightweight serum absorbs easily and despite having those acids in the ingredient list, my sensitive skin felt NO STINGING! I can say Iβm very impressed because Iβve felt stinging with milder ingredients like Niacinamide but not with this one.
I have noticed less milia on my cheeks and forehead and less sebaceous filaments on my nose. I also didnβt experience purging and there were no huge breakouts where I usually get it (even now that Iβm on my red days).
I will continue using this in my regimen as Iβve noticed this is a gentle yet effective alternative to Adapalene while Iβm trying new products on the side.
I would recommend this to beginners in chemical exfoliation as itβs fragrance-free, allergen-free, and cruelty-free!
One con that I can think of is the price ($31.50).
