The Eve Lom Rescue Mask is a beautifully made luxe skincare product. It combines honey infused kaolin clay to hydrate your skin and provides a refreshing, cooling sensation when applied. This mask also contains ground almonds to provide gentle exfoliation. This is a traditional clay mask that you must dry and then gently buff away with warm water and a cloth or your hands. The Rescue mask took about 10-15 to fry once applied and I really enjoyed the experience. It smells nice, felt warm and tingly when applied (thanks to the honey) and was a wonderful spa-like experience. When it dried I applied some warm water and gently buffed away the mask over the sink. My skin felt smooth and soft, silky to the touch. I immediately followed up with the rest of my skin care routine but avoiding any active ingredients. The only downside, it does not provide 72 hours of hydration as claimed and the ingredients contain straight alcohol (wish it didn’t). So I’m giving this a 4/5. It’s still a beautiful luxe mask and I will continue to use it. So I recommend you go ahead and give it a try if your curious you won’t regret it.
