reapplying moisturizer ?

I always apply moisturizer during the night and day but I've noticed that as time passed, my nose alone is particularly more oily than the others even though I put moisturizer so I had to reapply on that same area. I still don't have sunscreen yet because I don't how to pick one but I just wonder if sunscreens also provide moisturizing effects on the skin since you always have to reapply that right? Or do you also have to put both the moisturizer and sunscreen again? Also, what are the moisturizers you use at night to keep it hydrated? We obviously can't reapply while sleeping! 😂

i apply different moisturizer for night and day, i think you should first consider your skin type to be able to chose the right moisturizer. for the day, i only apply it once and only reapply the sunscreen. at night i use a leave on sleeping mask

Since you have oily skin, your sunscreen could have enough moisturizer in it without you needing an extra moisturizer before it. Chemical sunscreen tend to be more emolient so you may not need any if you are oily. Mineral sunscreen can absorb oils and make your face less greasy but that really depends on the formula

I'm not sure if i correctly understood your concern but if you feel the need to reapply your moisturizer it maybe means that your moisturizer isn't perfectly suitable for your skin type. Maybe your skin is also dehydrated? Sunscreens can be moisturizing, yes. You don't have to reapply your moisturizer when you reapply your sunscreen. But if you feel like it, you can totally do it, there is no rules. i personally use a mist before reapplying my sunscreen, to refresh and add a little moisture. If you want to keep your moisture all night i suggest you use a sleeping mask or an occlusive cream. Before your sleeping mask, you apply your usual night routine and you finish with the sleeping mask on top of everything.

if your moisturiser isn’t working for you, perhaps it’s the wrong product for your skin! I don’t usually have to reapply my moisturiser during the day, as I have quite a heavy one in the am which keeps my skin hydrated all day! I would suggest branching out and trying a new moisturiser 💗

I can relate to what you feel in the night routine since my skin also be reacting that way☺️ Every morning it sometimes leave with slight greasy feeling especially on my T-zone, but it's not a sign of my products not working since I understand it's just how my super oily skin reacts. My thumb rule for moisturizer at night is to have at least humectants and occlusive. My top pick is this moisturizer from Neutrogena since it has all humectants, occlusive, and emollients, leaving my skin not to be greasy, and feeling smooth even when staying up late!
