What's your marketing ploy pet peeve?

Hi Pickies! I know we're all familiar with this topic since before we buy something we always would research if the brand is alligned with our virtues and beliefs, whether it be a non-GMO, cruelty free or a hard sell maximalist skincare. But then we would always have that one reason to not buy the product just because the marketing behind it is off putting. Mine would be brands that would shamelessly villify the word "chemicals". The selling point would always be about how good it is for the skin because it came from the nature but they would never talk about how good the ingredients are. Everything is chemical so what's the point about making too mucn fuss about how it is bad for your body. Anyway, I know that there's no perfect brand and they will always have a room for improvement if they listen to their audience. But then again, what's your marketing ploy pet peeve?

This is so true. It hurts to see people who would believe every product with "miracle" word on it smh ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

it makes me go mmmmmmh๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค” when a brand feels the need to use buzz words/trends to sell their products. "Glass skin serum", "Glass skin toner" etc...

I pay little to no attention to marketing because there's always trickery involved, but anything that uses words like 'green', 'organic', 'natural' is a no go for me.

Yes my family is an audience for them. Because chemicals are evil but pure lemon juice on the face is great ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿคฃ
