Azelaic Acid alternatives

I read a member’s comment somewhere that when they used the TO Azelaic Acid cream, it tingles and itches on the acne area a bit (which is supposedly normal) and ended up switching to a better one? Recommendations pls because 1 week using it and I use a tiny bit on my maskne area but every time, it gets itchy a little. It does work though because it is slowly clearing...

I’m currently using this azelaic acid. It did itch for the first week but then the irritation was gone. Just to be sure i talked about it to dermatologist and she told me if the itch doesn’t go away after a week of use, i should dump it. But it doesn’t itch anymore and has been doing pretty good job!
