Hi guys🤍 I want to try a serum for overall brightening and for a healthy glow.

Currently I use the Good Molecules Niacinamide Toner & Cosrx Snail Mucin and Isntree Sunscreen for AM routine. I also use Cosrx Hydrium toner, Vichy HA serum and Ordinary HA Moisturiser at PM. What are good brightening serums I could add to my PM routine? I have some minor old acne scars post accutane. Thank you all🕊

If you're looking for an overall glow, I have to say go with a serum that contains vitamin C. I like this serum a lot from Facetheory--it has a vitamin C derivative, licorice root extract, and tranexamic acid. My skin is definitely brighter and dark spots faded thanks to this serum

The combination of niacinamide and alpha arbutin is a must try! You can do some research on alpha arbutin! I also suggest adding a vitamin C serum in your AM routine which can acts as an antioxidant and helps brighten up your skin tone. The Obagi serum has both vitamin c and arbutin🤩

I just have a look on both, and I personally think the daily brightening serum would be better, more stable and gentle on skin. Discoloration serum can be more aggresive than brightening serum. If you're looking at a stand alone product, choose discoloration serum as brightening serum needs the help of niacinamide or ascorbic acid.

Hmm maybe exfoliating serum Twice a week at night could help too
