Layering toners and slugging at night when your not using tret helped tremendously for me though I am only on 0.05% and using sandwich method

@liizDela: Slugging is the term they use when your using something occlusive over your hydrating products to prevent transepidermal water loss or TEWL.
Popular one is use is vaseline. Others use a richer moisturiser rich in petrolatum, dimethicone etc

I love using the sandwich method, either by pairing Isntree emulsion + Real Barrier Extreme Cream (I’m using lower dosage of Retinol so this pairing is enough). For higher dosage I’ll use both nourishing moisturizers, RBEC/ Make P:rem/ Frudia/ Axis-Y
