I’ve been skin cycling without even being aware of what that is. Recently I’ve tried to keep to a consistent routine and I’ve found it to be better for my skin as I see more results using products daily instead of skipping out.

Here’s a video from EqualRXN giving some reasons to avoid skin cycling, and more info in the comment section. It is something I need to research more before agreeing that it’s bad.

I think morning routines should be short and simple.
Typically I don't wash my face in the morning, if I do I use a super gentle cleanser.
After cleansing I use a Vitamin C serum right after for maximum absorption. I also use another serum that has a lot of antioxidants. After that I apply SPF which also doubles up as my moisturizer and that's it.

I stick to one routine in the morning and one in the evening
In that way I don’t have multiple products opened at once and reduce wastage of products
I like Ascorbic Acid and Sunscreen in the morning and Retinoids and Ceramides at night
