How to get rid of Milia

I’ve had milia around my eyes since I was a child and they have not improved after following a skincare routine. They’re mostly under my eyes but some are above and closer to my eyebrows. Using salicylic acid/ BHA products has not helped at all despite them helping my acne. I have used both the Ordinary AHA + BHA peeling solution and the Paula’s Choice skin perfecting BHA exfoliant. I’m quite wary using these on my milia since they’re so close to my eyes. What else can I do to try and reduce/ get rid of them?

I came here to suggest Retinol but Annaya has already done that. The Pure&Care is quite good and inexpensive

I’m really prone to milia - and have struggled with it for years! The only thing that has helped me is prescription Tretinoin.

Retinol and retinoids are the game changer for milia. I like to use Differin since it's a gel and is very lightweight for the eye area. Just make sure to go slowly with it since the eye area is sensitive. I also alternate between BHA and AHA (glycolic is my favorite) which I find is more effective than just one or the other.

Sorry but serums only prevent milia they rarely help in resolving the problem. For that you need to find a derm or estethician who removes them with sterile needles. The reason you have to find a specialist is that although milia comes out easily there is a risc of eye damage if the procedure is not done by someone who actually knows what theyre doing. Good luck!
