UV Sun Block with SPF 50/ PA+++
I bought this to use as a hand cream, as I wash my hands regularly and wanted an inexpensive option to reapply on my hands. I also wasn't very concerned about stuff like white cast like I would with my face sunscreens, since this is going on my hands anyway. Here are some features of this suncreen:
1. 💲Price: the biggest feature of this sunscreen that distinguishes itself from most other sunscreens would definitely be its price. I bought this 70ml bottle for just SGD$2/3, which is really really cheap.
2. 💧Texture: this comes out as a white, slightly thick cream, reminiscent of traditional sunscreens. one thing I noticed about this sunscreen was that it wasn't very "smooth" when you dispense it. not sure how to describe it but it has rough edges (pls refer to pic!). I think this is a matter of suboptimal blending of sunscreen filters that makes it this way.
3. 🖐🏻Application: like a traditional sunscreen, this leaves a rather sticky finish, even though I'm only applying it to my hands. it would definitely leave a much more sticky finish if applied to the face. I also noticed streaking of the sunscreen, meaning that when I spread it leaves a kind of white trail that produces a white cast. again, this could be down to suboptimal blending of sunscreen filters.
4. 🌸Fragrance: this does not have fragrance, but smells like what a traditional sunscreen would.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this suncreen as it is a very cheap option for my hands. We all know how important it is to put sunscreen on our hands as it is one of the first places on our body to show signs of photoaging.
I think many people would not appreciate using this on the face. It would leave streaks and a bad white cast. Even using this on the body for me (once) was not a very pleasant experience as it felt so sticky and left white streaks on my arms.
