Daily UV Protection Cream No Sebum
It has a short list of physical UV filters that make it a mineral sunscreen that may actually provide the sun protection that it promises. Its fairly lightweight and has a nice texture. It has a good matte finish that feels almost powdery once it dries which I kind of like. It also does not sting my eyes even when I put it on my eyelids. Its also alcohol free and it did not break me out.
This was almost perfect to me except for one big thing.
The worst white cast I’ve ever seen from a sunscreen. I only did the two finger method and it looked like a stuck my face in a bag of flour! The next day I tried using one finger and it still had a bad white/grey cast although it can be passable. But that means I don’t get the same amount of protection and its already just has an SPF of 35 and PA +++.
It does have a matte finish as promised but its quite excessive as it makes my skin feel so dry even if I have oily skin and I layer it over a good moisturizer. Also, once it begin to set into your skin its impossible to spread it out anymore. It can pill the harder you try to spread it once it’s dry. Plus it always leaves me with white residues in my hairline.
It has added fragrance and a short list of plant extracts which give it a certain scent that I don’t love.
People with very oily skin and lighter skin tones may appreciate this. The mild version may be better as it is a hybrid sunscreen.
