Pair Acne Cream W
So I found this while searching for some effective Japanese acne spot treatments and seeing the positive reviews I've seen online, I immediately included this in my monthly Japanese skincare haul.
I checked the ingredients on https://www.lion.co.jp/ and saw that it has 2 active ingredients:
- Ibuprofen Piconol (3%), which has been proven by science to be an effective topical medicament for acne
- Isopropyl Methylphenol (0.3%), which has antimicrobial and antibacterial properties.
As you can probably tell in the photo, I've used this product extensively since it's really effective in calming down my acne. I don't use it all over my face since it's only recommended to be used in the affected area. So yeah, it works really well as an overnight spot treatment.
As for its texture, it's kinda creamy so I wouldn't recommend for it to be used liberally, just the right amount in the area that needs to be addressed. Either way, the effect will still be the same whether you apply a ton of it or if you just put enough to cover your zit.
The only downside to this product is that it has fragrance in it, which gives it that antifungal cream kinda scent that's very off-putting. I mean, you already decided to add fragrance to your product, so why couldn't have it been banana or strawberry or lavender extract?

This cream is so worth it, and one of the only spot treatments that I have found to not dry my skin out 🙌🏼

Lmao at your "👎" comment, but it's completely true! 😂
I'm thinking about buying this but I'm not sure... I do not have active acne, only when I'm about to have my period. And whenever I breakout it's super obvious and sometimes with internal/blind pimpled... I'll research more
