☀️impressions
This product is a SPF50+ hybrid sunscreen with chemical and mineral filters, it has a light beige tint and has the consistency of a lightweight sunscreen fluid. It has a very noticeable scent of fruits, mainly orange (what do you expect from a Soap & Glory product). The price is affordable but it would only last less than a month considering it’s volume.
☀️personal experience
I didn’t have much expectations for this product as I bought it on impulse when I spotted it at the drugstore, because I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t have alcohol as a delivery agent considering it was more zinc based. I don’t really use it too often because I have other options I prefer more than this product.
This lightweight sun fluid absorbs into the skin nicely without making you look greasy, however, the tint doesn’t do much to hide blemishes, but that isn’t much of a problem for me. It also doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, but you feel it to a degree, so it might be uncomfortable for some people. Once it absorbs, you get a neutral finish on your skin, not matte or glowy.
☀️cons
The fragrance is definitely there, it also lingers for an hour after application. One thing I found out is that; the next few minutes after application, if you touch your face, your fingers may feel slightly oily, but your face itself won’t look it. Lastly, it pills, unfortunately. You cant use too many products beforehand or it will pill when you rub your face even with the slightest pressure. I only use a toner and lightweight moisturizer before I use this product.
Would I recommend it? Sure, if you want an okay affordable sunscreen, but there is no doubt a lot better options. I also will not be repurchasing it for the same reason. Overall, it was an okay experience, and I would realistically give it a 3.5 star rating, but I don’t want to give it 4 stars so I will be rounding it down.
