So far so good with this serum, but I still feel like I need more time to truly know if this works. I’ve been using this serum for a little over a week now and I have really enjoyed using it both day & night as my brightening serum. The main two brightening ingredients are Kojic Acid & Alpha-Arbutin which are very great skin brightening ingredients & sets this aside from other skincare products that mainly focus around vitamin C. I would say that if your skin can’t handle vitamin C very well or if you want to supplement your vitamin C and give your pigmentation an extra punch then this is the product for you.
I really enjoy that this is a pump and is really easy to dispense product & I love that this actually dries down to a semi-matte/neutral finish on my skin. I will probably mainly use this during the day just for that benefit as I don’t like looking shinny throughout the day.
Note that this also has a slight warming effect when first applied on skin. Or at least that was my experience with this product. I believe it is due to having Peppermint Leaf Extract in the ingredient deck.
🌱 Final Conclusion 🌱
I really am enjoying my experience with this serum so far & will continue to mainly focus on using this during the day. I possibly may even layer it on top of a vitamin c serum to get double brightening & double antioxidant power throughout the day. I think that if you’re interesting in some great brightening ingredients then this is a great place to start, but it probably won’t give you immediate results, but instead will reveal a brightening complexion with continued use.
I’m not personally so fond of the warming effect, but it doesn’t harm my skin in any way so it’s not that big of a problem. Just a little different then what I expected.
