Bright Boost Facial Moisturizer + SPF30
I really don’t have much good to say about the Neutrogena Bright Boost moisturizer but I will try to be as objective as possible. It is very lightweight so it is easy to apply to face. The needlepoint applicator is nice. Because it is a chemical sunscreen, it will not leave a white cast and I didn’t experience any irritation from this formula.
This moisturizer is BAD in general! There is way too much mica in this formula so it will make your face look extremely shiny and shimmery if you don’t apply any makeup over top of it. It almost more of a highlighter serum than a sunscreen moisturizer. And to make matters worse, it pills like you would’t believe! I altered my AM skincare routine 3x to prevent any potential pilling with this product but it still pilled every time. So each time I ended up with a shimmery pilling mess on my face. I’m just glad I only paid $4 for this moisturizer since I now will only use it for my body. I recommend to avoid this product as a facial moisturizer since it’s just a terrible formulation.
