PROS
• Doesn't feel too rich, heavy or greasy.
• Contains Ceramides/Cholesterol/Fatty Acids
• Strengthens skin barrier
• Suitable for all skin types including sensitive types
• Effective in increasing occlusion to reduce trans-epidermal water loss
FINAL VERDICT:
Having an oily but prone to dehydrated skin type, this product is heaven-sent for me. I am delighted too because it never clogged my pores and cause breakouts to my skin.
Using as my night moisturizer definitely helps fight transepidermal water loss. It really traps in all the hydration and moisture I piled on my skin without the feeling of it just sitting down on my face. I always wake up without feeling any tightness caused by the cold temperature.
I have no problems on using it in the morning. I don't know what sorcery is this but topping these moisturizers with sunscreen lessen the dewiness. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But I sweat a lot so I just don't pick this as my daily morning moisturizer to prevent clogging of the pores.
Despite the non-glazed doughnut finish they give, my skin looks moist and soft, and feels silky to the touch.
My sunscreens are way more shinier, almost-looking greasy and, oilier than these two combined.
You can moisturize without looking like a greaseball with cream!!
This have been restoring my compromised skin barrier for the past week. I also noticed that my sebum production is more balanced.
CONS
• People who live in a hot and humid country might not enjoy using it in the morning.
• Pricey for some.
